This one cannot answer locally, and here is where your address goes. A page cannot see your own public IP without asking something outside your network, so this tool calls api.ipify.org for the address and ipapi.co for the approximate location and network name. Both requests come from your browser, so both of those services see your IP, as does every site you visit. Nothing is sent to QuikUtil and nothing is stored here. The location is an estimate from a public database and is routinely wrong on a VPN or a mobile network.
